For sale new Ford 289 Hipo main bearing caps. These are a must for anyone running a GT40, Mustang or Cobra in FIA regulation racing. They are remanufactured in the latest nodular cast iron and are identical in looks to the original Hipo caps but much stronger and will add strength to the block. They are 1 mm oversize on the outside so they can be fitted to Your block and they have 1 mm left in the bore ready for line boring. A fitting service is also available if required. You can view two destruction tests on “youtube” one on an original cap and one on a new cap.
